Description/Job Summary

Overview

Responsible for the management and oversight of FFN/LCI’s Early Childhood Court (ECC) program throughout Circuit 1 (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton counties) Primary duties include leadership, guidance and direction of ECC Unit Managers, Community Coordinators, Chld Welfare Case Managers and clerical staff assigned to the program. Responsible for leading and supervising assigned staff to ensure quality work performance and adherence to regulatory compliance issues across the organization with regards to Dependency (child protection) and ECC guidelines (national and local). Coordinate circuit wide expansion of ECC to additional jurisdictions as resources are available and when needed/requested. Coordinate and/or participate in ECC Steering committee and other related stakeholder meetings. Represent Circuit One ECC on statewide and national Safe Babies Court Teams conference calls and liaison with statewide and national Baby Court representatives and entities. Monitor and assist in building capacity among area clinicians in Child Parent Psychotherapy and Infant Mental Health through coordination of training with local and national experts in the field; explore training and funding opportunities. Establish and maintain a list of qualified and credentialed providers of Child Parent Psychotherapy and IMH services in Circuit One; establish and maintain documentation of qualified CPP and IMH training programs.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree with at least five (5) years experience in human services or related field and two (2) years experience in supervision/management OR A Bachelors degree with at least six (6) years experience in human services or related and three (3) years of supervision/management. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills required along with proficiency in basic data collection and analysis methods. 
  • Ability to travel routinely to all four counties in Circuit One. 
  • Periodic travel out of the circuit will be required throughout the year. 
  • Strong presentation skills.
