Description/Job Summary

This position is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of ECC team meetings, team support and development, data collection, entry, and promotion of ECC model within Circuit One.  This position works closely with the ECC site judges/magistrates to support local ECC activities.  The Specialist facilitates coordination and collaboration among community stakeholders on the ECC team, assesses common trends and needs among ECC families, tracks monthly follow-up activities for each case involved in ECC, and identifies community resources to benefit ECC families. 


•Master’s degree in social work, psychology, child welfare, administration, education or related  human services field with at least two (2) years related experience.
•Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, drug and alcohol education, counseling, or criminal  justice with at least (4) years related experience. 
•Experience with group dynamics and facilitating team meetings.
•Knowledge of early childhood development, infant mental health, early intervention strategies and  the impact of abuse / neglect.
•Ability to travel weekly and routinely within the four counties of Circuit One. Periodic travel out of the  circuit will be required throughout the year.
•Experience working with dependency court judges/magistrates.
•Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.
