Description/Job Summary

This highly responsible position will act as a neutral advocate and resource facilitator between the Dependency Court and ongoing system of care stakeholders and providers for children and families assigned to the 1.) Dependency Court System or 2.) Deemed unsafe and assigned a Dependency Case Worker. Facilitations may be scheduled with both court ordered cases or non-judicial. These positions must build relationships within the Circuit 1 court systems and Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) to support the children served by FFN.  The Facilitator will develop work process and associations within the provider network and develop and maintain professional work relations with judiciary staff.


•Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, drug and  alcohol education, counseling, or criminal  justice with at least four years related experience. Experience with group dynamics, conflict  resolution, coordinating and leading groups.
•Knowledge of conflict resolution and group dynamics.
•Ability to travel weekly and routinely to all four counties in Circuit One. Periodic travel out of the  circuit will be required throughout the year.
•Must have extensive knowledge of permanency requirements of Dependency system.
•Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.
