Description/Job Summary

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will answer the phone system, routing calls appropriately and taking messages. Complete inquiry sheets for all admissions calls to give to the Admissions team. Greet and direct all visitors. Be sure confidentiality statements and billing sheets are signed when appropriate. Compile weekly reports for Director including financial, client satisfaction, P-Card, and safety reports. Upon admission, register patient with Central Registration at LCI including face sheet and insurance information. Work closely with Admissions staff to make sure billing and admissions runs efficiently. Post payments to credit cards, take payments and record in Profiler system. Record bed days and census reports. Prepare and make bank deposits. Order and organize office supplies, LCI forms and needed patient books. Complete requisitions forms. Complete accounts payable requests. Keep petty cash accounts in order. Knowledge of operation of office machines, including copier, computer, computer printer, paper shredder, fax machine and adding machine. Input non-mandatory and mandatory training for employees into computer records. Coordinate staff activities. Collate and distribute discharge packets to patients. Keep front waiting area clean and organized. Provide clerical support to other staff..

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Understanding of excel, word and power point applications
