This position is to provide adoption education families in the child welfare system who are seeking to adopt. This position will be responsible for maintaining and/or developing training materials and presentation of materials for parties interested in adoption. This position will aid in scheduling families for training, as well as tracking progress of families through the Adoption Home Study Process.
The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with children, youth, families, partners and providers regarding the adoption process and requirements. Assignments/tasks are to be executed with considerable independence and maintain compliance with established agency policies and procedures, contract requirements, and federal and state regulations/laws.
