The Safety/Workers Comp Case Manager will administer LCI’s worker’s compensation (WC) plan from intake of initial injury report to follow up with supervisors and the insurance company on the status of the injury. Coordinate with occupational doctors regarding
WC claims. Coordinate with injured workers to ensure compliance with recommended treatment and decreased time to wellness. Coordinate with supervisors/workers to enhance “Return to Work” program. Process WC invoices including monthly bills from the WC Carrier
along with invoices for Drug screenings from medical providers and medical labs. Maintain Near Miss record keeping and log. Administer LCI’s FMLA Program and Special Leave Programs from intake of request until completion of leave. Utilize FMLA data base,
Lawson, and Kronos to assist and support and management of claims.
High School Diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years of experience in Human Resources Administration.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards and Florida Statues with regard to Workers Compensation.
Must be able to effectively utilize data base programs and Microsoft Office Software including Excel.
Must be knowledgeable of Leave Programs including FMLA.
