The Family Support Worker provides transportation to children and families. Provides education to families regarding nutrition, infant development and parenting skills. Assess child safety and parenting skills and report to Child Welfare Case Managers. Demonstrates appropriate interaction with children for parents and other caregivers. Arranges and supervises visits between parents and children. Assists case managers with data entry into Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN). Conducts interviews to collect general household data. Assesses data and assists families. Assists families by providing information and arrangements for social services, medical assistance, education, employment and training, daycare services, and housing. Provides supervision and necessary care for children while in their care. Ensures the Federal Funding Unit has current and accurate information for children in out-of-home cases. Utilizes office supplies, equipment and materials appropriately.
