Description/Job Summary


This executive level position will report directly to the President/CEO of Lakeview Center, Inc. serving as an  Officer of the corporation, and is responsible for the oversight of LCI’s Child Welfare Division.  Primary duty is to  customarily and regularly direct the work of at least two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. This  role is responsible for leading and supervising assigned staff to ensure quality work performance and adherence  to regulatory compliance issues across the organization with regards to Child Welfare.  Additional duties include  the authority to hire and separate, evaluate staff performance (or whose suggestions and recommendations as to  the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees are given  particular weight).       
This position requires working closely with funding sources, provider community, stakeholders, internal and external management staff and the State of Florida to ensure that services are provided appropriately, timely and in ompliance with governing and accrediting agencies, guidelines, regulations and statutes.

Role Requirements (minimum qualifications required for an interview):

  • Requires a Master’s degree in one of the following areas: social work or related field.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience developing and successfully managing operations with an annual budget of $10 million or more.
  • Must have management experience and at least 2 years of service experience working with children and families.
  • Must have understanding of organizational systems with working knowledge of community based care and children’s mental health.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
