Overview
The RN will perform nursing acts, functions, or tasks under the delegation and supervision of a medical doctor. Act as a lead direct care provider to others in the division/program. Provide oversight and guidance to LPNs and/or Behavior Technicians, and ensure staff adhere to agency protocols. To provide the following services to clients, in-depth nursing assessments, facilitate referrals of clients to internal and external resources per physician's orders, deliver and monitor detoxification treatment per agency medical / pharmacy protocols. Initiate and/or safely and perform seclusion and restraints to LCI standards. Perform face-to-face assessment with client in seclusion or restraints. Utilize available data reports to aid practice. Assist patients with their needs, as appropriate.
