Description/Job Summary


Lakeview Center is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is “Helping People Throughout Life’s Journey.”  We serve as a trusted partner for improving the quality of life in the communities we serve.  The ABH Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for the day to day review of clinical information and referral and authorization of appropriate and timely inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for ABH members. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff in behavioral and medical health care settings. Assignments/tasks are to be executed with considerable independence and maintain compliance with established facility policies and procedures, contract requirements, organization bylaws, and federal and state regulations/laws. Work is performed in an office environment.   Requires weekend and after hours on-call coverage.  Occasional day travel or overnight travel may be required.


  • Must be a Florida licensed Registered Nurse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • 3 years’ experience in behavioral health care, preferably in acute care.
  • Experience in inpatient behavioral health utilization management/review required.
  • Clinical assessment skills related to the behavioral health field, both mental health and substance abuse are essential.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with good decision making skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
