Description/Job Summary

 
Overview

The Friary Housekeeper will maintain a clean and neat facility through adherence to a specific housekeeping schedule (i.e. dusting mopping vacuuming and sweeping.).  Clean and polish all furniture.  Wash, fold and store linens in proper areas.  Clean restrooms, offices and waiting areas daily.  Maintain clean and orderly storage of cleaning materials and inventor cleaning supplies and paper goods.  Utilize appropriate equipment and cleaning materials.  Maintain adequate soap, and towels and toilet tissue in offices and patients’ room bathrooms.  Move furniture when necessary.  Clean floors including carpet and floor cleaning machines.  Report broken equipment and furniture to supervisor.  Maintain sanitation and safety standards in compliance with regulations.  Complete mandatory LCI training, staff development and unit in-service training.

Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be physically able to lift/move up to 50lbs.
